The Editors

Peter J. Denning (Chief Editor) is past president of ACM (1980-82) and is Distinguished Professor, Chair of the Computer Science Department, and Director of the Cebrowski Institute at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA.

Emily Eng (Managing Editor for Administration) is with the Publications Department of ACM in New York.

Espen Andersen (Associate Editor) is Associate Professor of Strategy with The Norwegian School of Management BI and European Research Director with The Concours Group.

Kemal A. Delic (Associate Editor) is a senior technologist with Hewlett-Packard Co. He is also an Adjunct Professor at PMF University in Grenoble and Advisor to the European Commission FET 2007-2013 Programme.

Michel E. Kabay (Associate Editor) is Associate Professor and Program Director for the master's and bachelor's programs in information assurance at Norwich University in Northfield, VT.

John Stuckey (Associate Editor) is Chief Technology Officer of the American University in Cairo.

Arun Kumar Tripathi (Associate Editor) is a Research Assistant with the Philosophy of Technology Department, Institute for Philosophy at the Dresden University of Technology, Dresden, Germany. Tripathi is a member of Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE) since 1999.

Goutam Kumar Saha (Associate Editor) has worked as a computer scientist in various premier R&D organizations in India for twenty years. At present, he is an Additional Director in the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), Kolkata. His fields of interest include fault tolerant computing software, dependable computing, natural language engineering, Knowledge Modeling etc.

Ross Gagliano (Associate Editor) is a retired professor and co-founder of the Computer Science Department at Georgia State University in Atlanta. Previously, he was a senior researcher at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. His primary areas of interest are modeling and simulation.

Lauren Weinstein (Editor) is founder of the PRIVACY Forum and co-founder of People For Internet Responsibility (PFIR). He has been involved in projects related to technology and society since the early 1970s starting at the first ARPANET (later Internet) site, which was located at UCLA.

Virgil D. Gligor is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. His area of interest is security and dependability of ubiquitous computing.

Dick Swenson is currently an Adjunct Instructor in Mathematics at Walla Wall Community College. He has been a researcher in computer subjects, taught at the University of Toronto, and worked for a consulting company on computer system development. He received the IEEE Computer Society CSDP designation as part of the initial testing of the award and programmed his first real computer in the Summer of 1957.
